the weather is heating up and it's just about time for outdoor concert season. whether you're a festival goer, an amphitheater picnic-er or a country line dancer- it's time to start styling yourself for the fun events ahead. it's my favorite time of year for fashion. there's something about dressing up for events that makes getting ready so much more fun. grab your girls and let's get to styling.
when styling for a concert, the key is dressing to look good but also be super prepared. here are some of my tips for being prepared (linking my favorites at the bottom of this post).
layering. you never know what the weather will be like, so you always want the option to take something off or throw something on. my go-to's are bringing a flannel or jean jacket. you can throw either of them around your waist or wrap in a fun knot around your purse.
ripped demin. whether you want to wear shorts or jeans, denim is the way to go. let's be honest, concerts can get dirty. you'll be in and out of public restrooms, people will spill their drinks on you and you'll want to be comfy. ripped denim is my absolute go to.
purse. bring a cross body bag that zips or closes tight (don't want to lose your lip gloss while you're dancing). if you're like me you'll be moving around a ton, drinking and you want to make sure your stuff is safe.
shoes. booties are my jam! i love wearing short booties to concerts. shoes i am comfortable dancing all day in, don't mind getting a little dirty and are "blister proof". comfort is the way to go when you're on your feet all day.
bodysuits. this bodysuit is everything. www.tobi.com has all the perfect bodysuits for your concert needs. this one is flattering, sexy and super stretchy. i love the lace up detail on this one, but tobi has so many cute others like this one and this one that are perfect!
in your bag. lip gloss, sunglasses bronzer, cash, ID, cell phone, wipes. keep it simple and you'll be completely set.
